94 Students of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University received summer training in USA
About International Exposure Program 2010: As we know Energy & Petroleum sector is extremely global in nature and it keeps on expanding and changing by each growing day. PDPU had designed 3 weeks training in association with University of Houston, University of Tulsa and University of Oklahoma along with to provide exposure of state-of-art technology in the upstream sector, to encourage petroleum engineering graduates. This training helped the students to get acquainted faster with changing technology in the sector.
All the operations of the internship were based on international technology. It also triggered cross-cultural learning and provided them exposure to global environment which is a must in today’s world.
Exposure to foreign institute/establishment encouraged petroleum engineering graduates from PDPU to be more competitive as global commodities in the petroleum sector. The exposure to the state-of-art technology in the upstream sector was available to the PDPU students to get them trained with such advanced technology in laboratory/pilot scale.
It has built confidence to work in different culture and with people of different nationalities
The field trips to the manufactures of the oil field equipments along with the field trips had encouraged the students to start their own business/entrepreneurship.
After being trained in such highly advanced places of learning, the students could take up research and development program in their respective areas of interest.
