VGA (Video Graphics Association), SPTG participated in 'Vista', a Movie Making Competition at 'SYNAPSE' DA- IICT. SPTG group prepared and showed a movie titled 'Let her not be born again' based on the campaign 'Save the girl child'. It won the First Prize. Earlier this movie was shown at NIFT Gandhinagar and distinguished panellists such as Mrs. Manjula Shroff (Founder – Calorx Foundation), Mr G S Gulati (Director – UNICEF), and Ms Amisha Mehta, Course Co-ordinator – NIFT had appreciated the movie.

10 members team from SPTG performed a 10 minute skit on the theme of ‘auto-driver’. The event called ‘Instinct’ allowed students to workout the theme and script in 30 minutes only. Students performed a moving skit discussing a plight of a Bihari auto rickshaw driver who leaves Gujarat fearing that Ratan Tata’s Nano would give him a hard competition in the days to come. He goes to Mumbai and is maltreated by fanatics. The team SPTG won the Second Prize.

Tashi Jain, 4th Semester B.Tech. student was selected in ‘Rampage’ as the best female model.

Arjun Yadav, 4th Semester B.Tech. student won the First Prize in Debate. Arjun also won the First Prize in ‘Jam’.
