Shri S.S.P. Singh served The National Oil Company ONGC for 38 years in its operations and R & D wings. At its premiere R & D institute- The Institute of Oil & Gas Production Technology (IOGPT), he was instrumental in identification & implementation of prospective Improved Oil Recovery Techniques. He pioneered many research projects viz 1) Formulation damage & control 2) Under balance operations 3) Water control 4) Rigless operations 4) Sand control etc. He is regarded as Stimulation Expert & takes keen interest in production improvement projects. He has also served at SPE (India), the society as vice Chairman (1993 to1995) at Mumbai Chapter.
