Counseling And Admission:
All the candidates, who have qualified for the counseling for admission to 2010 batch of B.Tech. Programme of School of Petroleum Technology, are required to attend the counseling at PDPU Campus as per the schedule given below. A candidate may be accompanied by one Parent/Guardian.

A candidate is required to be present personally for Counseling and Admission at the scheduled place, time and date. |

If a candidate is unavailable on the date of counseling due to serious illness/accident or unavoidable circumstances, her/his guardian is required to be present on the prescribed date and time along with the authority letter from the student and documentary evidence(s) showing reason for absence, by obtaining the prior approval of the Undergraduate Admission Committee. |

In case a candidate fails to attend the counseling in the specified session and reports later on the same day with admission procedure still continuing; she/he shall be considered as the last candidate of that session and will be offered admission based on the availability of seat. |

Verification of all the documents including mark sheets, AIEEE 2010 Admit Card, AIEEE 2010 Score Card, Identity Proof and Caste Certificate (from Competent Authority as notified by the Government) will be undertaken by the Undergraduate Admission Committee. |

At the Counseling Session, after the verification of the original documents, the counselors at PDPU will provide the necessary counseling to the candidates. The candidates are required to give their choice. |

On fulfilling the above requirements and payment of requisite fees, provisional admission will be offered. |
• |
All candidates should present the original documents for confirmation of admission on the counseling day. However, if certain original document, viz., Higher Secondary Examination marksheet, the same should be submitted latest by 7th July, 2010 failing which the offer of provisional admission will stand cancelled. |

If at any stage, the information provided by the candidate is found to be false, her/his candidature will be cancelled and she/he will be debarred from applying for admission in PDPU for two years. |
• |
All expenses for attending the counseling are to be borne by the candidate. |
