Taral Pathak is a Chartered Accountant and has done his Post Graduation in commerce from Gujarat University. He specializes in the area of Derivatives and Risk Management, International Finance and Financial Management. He has worked as an Assistant Manager – Project Finance Division with Vivro Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. He has had the experience of augmenting debt and equity on behalf his clients and has taken up corporate restructuring assignments. The industry experience encompasses liaisoning with banks and FI’s, analyzing financial statements, preparing project reports and creation of security in favour of lending institutions. He has carried out various audits of Companies, partnership firms and trusts, therefore making him conversant with the entire book keeping procedure. During his article ship tenure he has carried out statutory audit of various banks. He was also involved in carrying out Tax audits, filing of return of income and making appeals and other submissions to the Income Tax Department.

His research interest is in the area of International Finance and exchange rate systems. He has conducted training programs for various corporates’ in the area of Risk Management and International Financial Reporting Standards applicable to foreign subsidiaries. He has participated in various Conferences and Workshops organized by IIM-Ahmedabad, Nirma Institute of Management, Gujarat University Area Accounting Teachers’ Association, etc.

He is a visiting faculty at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and at Nirma Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has a total work experience of 9 years in academics and Industry taken together.
