• Organic thin-film Solar cell Technology, Synthesis of materials and its application in Engineering & Technology, Supramolecular and Catalysis.

• Synthesis of Sumanene and Corannulene derivative and its application in various fields of chemistry

• Organofluorine chemistry, Natural Product and analalogues Asymmetric synthesis, Synthetic methodology, Drug design etc.

Dr. Pandey is presently focusing his research directions in the areas of Organic thin-film Solar cell Technology, Synthesis of materials and its application in Engineering & Technology, Supramolecular and Catalysis. He also plans to explore some basic research in the areas of Organofluorine chemistry, Synthetic methodology, Asymmetric synthesis, Drug design, and Catalysis etc. He has active collaborations with scientists from several organizations such as Advanced Photovoltaic Center and Biomaterials Centre, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan, Biosensors and bioelectronics IFM-Linkopings Universitet, Linkoping, Sweden etc.
