Dr. Satyam Shinde completed his graduation, post graduation and doctoral study in theoretical condensed matter physics from Physics Department, M S University of Baroda. He was working as an assistant Professor in Institute of Technology, Nirma University before joining the School of Technology, PDPU in 2011.
Dr. Shinde is currently working on vibrational properties of compound semiconductors and nanophonincs mainly related to the area of pressure induced structural phase transition and behavior of phonons under high pressure. His future research also includes study of behavior of intermetallic compounds at ambient and high pressure along with dynamical study of nanofluids and the mechanical, elastic and structural properties of the Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors (DMSs) at high pressure.
He is involved in teaching courses on engineering Physics and engineering materials.
