Screenplay Writing Workshop By Shri. Anjum Rajabali

A Screenplay writing workshop was organised by School Of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University on the 6th and 7th Of April, 2011 which was handled by Shri.Anjum Rajabali, eminent Bollywood scriptwriter, who has scripted hits like Ghulam, Raajneeti and the yet to be released Aarakshan.

The workshop was organised as part of the elective-"Films & Society" in SLS ,but it was open for the entire PDPU family. The students got an introduction to screenplay writing and its various components. Shri.Rajabali also shared a few anecdotes from his life and proved to be an entertainer in real life. He spoke at length about screenplay writing as a career option and the hurdles one might face along the way. The workshop was useful for not only the students of the elective but also for others since, he dwelt at length about creative writing and the process of transforming thoughts onto paper which is quite a challenge for anybody. The workshop was an enriching experience for one and all.
