Gujarat, the emerging search engine of India stepped in to another ladder to innovate & renovate education infrastructure in the state. With this approach, Govt. along with PWC, KCG & IndexBt bodies opened a new transom for education to rise in state. A Round Table Conference between Global Universities & Gujarat based Industries & Institutions, was organized at PDPU on 10th January 2011 by the KCG & Gujarat Govt. The initiative of the Round table conference is to enhance the educational enlargement in the Gujarat state.
Round Table Conference began with common presentation made by KCG on “Vibrant Summit 2011”, further inaugurated by Hon. CM of Gujarat Shri. Narendra Modi. Under Government of Gujarat (GOG), initiative was conceived by CM’s development prospect in 2003, as it has earned a significant achievement in the Sobriquet of being Gujarat’s flagship event. On inauguration dais, Guj CM emphasized his policies on cherished research programs & rating to nominate the growth sign.
On mission to encourage the growth, at the same equally need to accomplish educational engine, as the visionary plans laid by Hon. CM to support education window by inviting global Diaspora on the platform of Gujarat’s development cycle “Vibrant Summit”. Modi Ji has already promised earlier to offer all sorts of supports in the services, includes Governing body, Human Development Indices, Financial Services, & Knowledge based organization. Total MOUs signed in today’s summit are about more than 70, between the respected institutions & industries.

The delegates attending the educational summit include top bureaucrats, state government officials, vice chancellors, University’s head, Industrial leaders & global academician. Top Industries participated in the event are from Essar Group, Ambuja Cement, Tata Power, Shell, Torrent Power, Siemens, Hazira LNG Port, & other commercial organizations & Associated Industrial members. Global universities signed MOUs at Summit are California State Unviversity, Institute of South Asian Studies Singapore, Kensas University, University of Maryland, University of Oklahoma, Karolinska Institute, and many other international universities. Along with Global players, state private & public universities - both have also participated & signed in the MOUs Ceremony.
Madame Jayanti, Principal Secretary stated some Government Policies & reforms, basically focused on knowledge based development, Funding allocation, & Govt initiatives to impart the modern & multilingual knowledge sharing platforms.
KCG Head at the end talked about the collaborative mechanism to impart value based education & Qualitative research in the major scientific units. Industrial leaders too forward their views on solid educational policies & knowledge awareness program to endorse growth in academics & researches. Funding is as above all, the hottest issue among the panelists esp. for Indian academicians. Govt. didn’t promise, but assured concerning the necessary steps in this segment.
Later session also continued with Panel Discussion in Human Development Index, focusing Health Indicators. Giving spotlight on Health & Medical resources growth in the booming pharma capital of country and lastly on Gujarat prospective ; aspirations and experiences.
