International Conference at PDPU

International Conference on Themes on Higher Education: Prospects of Gujarat was held at PDPU. It was organized by Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG), Department of Education – Govt. of Gujarat along with PDPU. The inauguration of the conference was done by The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi. The Conference welcomed dignitaries like Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, IAS, Prof. Ramesh K. Goyal, Convener, Shri Ramanlal Vora, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Smt. Vasuben Trivedi, Hon’ble Minister of State (Higher & Technical Educaiton), D.J. Pandian, IAS, Prof. Vivienne Baumfield, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, Prof. N. R. Dave, Conference Executive Chairman, Prof. Avadhesh Singh, Conference Co-Convener. The Conference also welcomed speakers from various well known universities and colleges of India as well as United States, United Kingdom. The themes of the conference were Higher Education in the Era of Globalization, Value Oriented Education in Higher Education, Restructuring Higher Education, and Redesigning Curricula in Higher Education.
