Mr. Alain’s Visit at PDPU

Yesterday was a momentous day for PDPU as SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) President Mr. Alain Labastie visited the University and motivated students. SPE student PDPU has been very instrumental in inviting not one but two SPE International presidents over the course of last three years since its inception. We are thankful to ONGC Ahmedabad-SPE India section for guiding us through all the milestones.

13 short listed posters on the theme of Green Earth and Global Warming theme which was very applauded by Mr. Alain Labastie for their creativity, Aesthetic value and Conceptual design have been shortlisted. The Poster event set the tempo for the motivating lecture by Mr. Alain Labastie which soon followed afterwards as he detailed the importance of petroleum Industry with respect the GHG emissions. He was very much impressed by the campus facilities and infrastructure provided to the burgeoning petroleum graduates and looked forward to establishing a good relationship with the university.
