PDPU sign MoU with Cairn India Ltd

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University and Cairn India Limited signed a MoU on 15th of July 2011, with an intention to develop mutual academic collaboration in the petroleum sector.

This MoU will provide and facilitate the students in developing a technical and managerial base in the sector.

The scope of this Mou includes:

• To conduct faculty development programme, wherein PDPU will nominate faculties for undertaking a live project in the area of petroleum technology in the corporate office or operation base of Cairn

• To organize visit of PDPU students to the field operations bases. This will help the students to get a practical understanding of the industry.

• To organize visits of senior executives of Cairn at the PDPU campus from the technical and managerial function, for the purpose of Guest Lectures. This way the students will be able to get learning from industry experts.

• To organize for internship and projects work for the students of PDPU in the technical and managerial functions in the corporate office or operation bases of Cairn.
