An industry-academia agreement in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ONGC represented by the Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS) and Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar on 7 August 2018 at the School of Petroleum Technology, PDPU campus. With this MoU, ONGC and PDPU commits to transfer the best know-how, industry standard workflow and best practices to each other. This also includes work association, conducting industry and academia related full-time research, thesis projects and formal training programs. This MoU will in building a strong research base for facing the upcoming challenges in the oil and gas industry. This will also facilitate expert lectures to groom the students for future oil and gas challenges.
