Library
& Information System:
The Library and Information Centre [LIC] provides the ideal ambience for production & dissemination of knowledge, information, insights & intellect across schools of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. The Library holds a huge collection of printed as well electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. |

The centre has utilized Information Technology extensively to ensure that resources are accessible to students and faculty from anywhere at anytime. Services such as OPAC for checking availability and booking online, remote access to e-resources and databases make the LIC extremely user-friendly.
The library has been automated using Alice for Windows (AfW) - an international user - friendly library package. The software facilitates automated circulation (issue-return) of books and speedy access to bibliographic, location and availability information of the books in the library. A ready and up-to-date catalogue is available on the Internet for book enquiry. PDPU library also subscribes online databases such as Infraline: Oil & Gas, EBSCO: Business Source Elite, CMIE: Industry Analysis, Capitaline Plus, Science Direct: Energy, OnePetro: SPE e-library, Geoscienceworld: (GSW)

Energy Resources:
PDPU Libraries have an outstanding energy collection,
notably in Petroleum, Solar and Nuclear. Libraries keep
very special collection of books of solar energy and
nuclear energy. Libraries maintain an extensive collection
