Dr. Sanjay Kumar Pradhan completed his M.A., M.Phil and Ph.D. from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) and awarded with Centrally Sponsored Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Social Science Research (Government of India) during his Ph. D. programme. Before joining this University, he served as Junior Project Fellow in the National Council of Educational Research and Training (New Delhi) and Assistant Professor in Political Science in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce at Mody Institute of Technology & Science (Rajasthan). With post-doctoral research and teaching experience of six years, he has, till date, 15 publications in various reputed national, international and refereed journals such as World Affairs, The Indian Journal of Social Work, Jadavpur Journal of International Relations, Asian Studies and Asian Profile. Moreover, some of his research papers are under consideration by different renowned journals like, Journal of Peace Studies and India Review. Apart from this, he has participated and presented research papers on international relations in various international seminars/conferences at different platforms such as Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi) and Forum on Contemporary Theory (Baroda, Gujarat).

Dr Pradhan has keen interest and great inclination in the areas of Gender and Gender Politics, Indian Political System, Theory of International Relations, International Political Economy, Peace & Conflict, Foreign Policy, Indian Diaspora, Sub-Saharan Africa and Energy Politics.
