PDPU Young India students on World Health Day

SPT-Yi Net on 7th April, 2011 Celebrated World Health Day by distributing 94 Medical kits to labour colonies of GNLU under construction campus at Raisan. The money for this Noble Cause was raised by organizing Yi Cricket League that happened in October,2010.

Each Kit Contained:
1. Dettol
2. Cotton
3. Bandage
4. Antiseptic Cream
5. ENO
6. ORS

It was found that the standard of Health and Safety in these labour colonies were very poor and hence on World Health Day, it was a small effort by PDPU students to uplift there standard so that underprivileged labours and their family overcome there health problem.

SPT-Yi Net also donated Rs.2200 to PM Relief Fund for Leh Disaster Relief Fund on 1st April,2011 as committed earlier. The Money for donation was raised through organizing Mock Model Placement session in November,2010. SPE Student Chapter of PDPU and National Service Scheme also helped in this noble cause by sponsoring this event and helping us to go long way in our mission to serve India and Society.
