Eligibility Criteria:
First Class or equivalent (60% marks for General categories; 55% for SC / ST/ Physically Challenged candidates) or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 or above (6.5 for SC/ST/ Physically Challenged candidates) in:

• M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Electronics/ Optoelectronics/ Material Science

OR

• B.E./B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering/ Engineering Physics/ Semiconductor Device Technology/ Energy Science & Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
For candidates with Science background:
Masters degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Geology, Applied Geology, or Applied Chemistry, with a minimum of 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5 or equivalent and Valid GATE score at the time of admission, if applicable
For candidates with engineering background:

• M. Tech degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60%  marks,
  OR
• B. Tech degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with minimum CPI of 7.00 or 65% marks
• Valid GATE score at the time of admission, if applicable
• Candidates with above qualification can be sponsored by related industries.
